Our beekeeping is focused on one thing: winter survivability in Michigan. Our queens are raised and overwintered outdoors with minimal intervention, in real conditions—not ideal ones. Many are tested in nucleus colonies, where only the strongest move forward as breeder queens.
We keep our bees treatment-free, selecting for natural resilience rather than relying on chemical inputs. This approach supports colonies that maintain low mite levels and strong overall health on their own.
This matters because hardy, self-sustaining bees help make you a more successful beekeeper. Our queens are bred to come through winter and build up strong in spring—just as they should.
