At Decatur Ridge Apiaries, we’re proud to offer our premium nucleus colonies. Our colonies come with a proven, well established laying queen, three frames of brood, and two frames with an adequate supply of food resources to get you off and running. We take care to ensure that each colony is in good health, so you can rest assured that you’ll get a high quality product every time.

All nucs are pick-up only at one of our apiaries in Southwest Michigan and are available starting in May. Exact pickup dates are often effected by local weather conditions. We will notify you within two weeks of pick-up dates.

Please note that nuc deposit refunds are at our discretion. They are typically non-refundable after April 1. Remainder of bill is due at pick-up.
